For the past year or so Hebrews 12:2-3 has been my focus for living.  At that time there was a lot going on in my life and I needed to keep my eyes focused.  Not to look to the left or the right.  I am thankful that over the past year a great habit (discipline) has been reignited in my life.  A freedom to seek, find, and live… to get to know my Saviour in a beautiful way!!

His encouragement to me was to study how Jesus ran and finished the race.  To look into his life and go over his story again and again and as I did so – I would find Him.

I’m reading in Colossians this week.  Colossians 2:6b-7 is leading to the beginning of a new chapter in this race.

You received Christ Jesus, the Master; now live him. You’re deeply rooted in him. You’re well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what you’ve been taught. School’s out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6b-7, The Message).

Where are you today in your walk with Jesus?  Are you growing?  Are you living in Him and trusting Him to meet your every need?  I know at times we can all get lost or side-tracked with life.  Don’t do life without Him!  If you are having difficulty keeping focused take the time to let Hebrews 12:2-3 give you some direction… it’s a great place to start.  If you are living the dream – who are you bringing along for the ride?

 Seek. Find. Live.
