What’s on your mind today?  Have you prayed about it?  Or have you worried your way through your day with that thing on your mind?

@TapestryChurch this coming Sunday we will be in a new series entitled “Why Worry?”  Knowing that this new series is coming up may be why I have Pray vs. Worry on my mind.  It could be that God’s timing is so perfect that my thoughts and the upcoming series are in the midst of a mid-air collision.  Whatever the reason it’s good to have this as a focus right now.

Each day I desire to live life by faith in obedience to Jesus.  How can I when allow stuff to eat at me in the form of worry minute by minute.

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:6-7).

No matter what you have on your plate – let Christ displace the worry that is at the center of your life.  Begin to thank him and praise him let God know what you are concerned about and live by faith – knowing God is going to walk with you through whatever you may be facing.
