What can be salvaged from this day?
I left a couple of comments on the She-Ramblers blog that may give you a little bit of insight into my day.
I spent some time out at the park again today for lunch talking with the Lord. That was my best hour of the day – for sure. I have written about six pages or so in my journal throughout the day. Looking back over the thoughts I had – “fear” runs rampant through those pages. I don’t know why but the weight of so many things out of my control came crashing down on me.
I want to end this day thinking on a couple of verses in God’s Word.
3 But when I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you.
4 I praise God for what he has promised.
I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?
What can mere mortals do to me? (Psalm 56:3-4, NLT)
10 So don’t worry, because I am with you.
Don’t be afraid, because I am your God.
I will make you strong and will help you;
I will support you with my right hand that saves you. (Isaiah 41:10, NCV)
